Putting an end to blind quoting

Every agent knows blind quoting is risky can lead to E&O exposure, and is not in the best interest of your clients. Luckily, InsurGrid has created Accelerated Underwriting to put an end to blind quoting.

Accelerated Underwriting allows agents to collect additional information from their clients to prepare accurate and legal quotes without having to guess important details like roof age. These questions appear to the prospective client after they've shared their declarations pages with the customer. InsurGrid doesn't stop at the dec page, with Accelerated Underwriting customers get all the client data needed for a quote.

What information does it gather?

By default, Accelerated Underwriting questions will be included on your InsurGrid Link. The questions that are included in the Accelerated Underwriting feature include:

Driver Information

  • Date of birth

  • Drivers license number

Property Information

  • Address

  • Do you own this property?

  • Do you have a pool?

  • Does your pool have a fence?

  • What type of pool do you have?

  • Do you have any dogs?

  • What breed of dogs do you have?

  • What is the approximate age of your roof?

  • What is the material of your roof?

What will this look like for a client?

Once a client's insurance policy data has been successfully submitted and shared with you, they will then be presented with a success page. From here they will be asked a series of questions about their property as well as their driver's information.
